New To Blogger

Today, I'm beginning a new blog. I've blogged for years here:

Why the move? It seems there is more traffic here. I read so many blogs that have 100+ comments from fellow moms who are just doing their thing like me and I yearn for the same kind of feedback. Why did I choose "Not All Superheroes Wear Capes" as my blog name? I saw the saying once and decided it suited me. I'm a mom of five kids. I work full time and I am two years post separation/divorce. If THAT doesn't take the strength of a superhero, I don't know what does. I don't have a cape. There are no superpowers... well, unless you count marathon diaper changing, arguing with a 13 year old (and winning) or whipping up a meal in 20 minutes with three ingredients that no one complains about. Invisibility? Muscular strength? Laser beams from my eyes? Nope. Just an ordinary mom with extraordinary strength to make it through the day and wake up the next morning to do it all over again. If there's any superhero in my life, it's God. Without Him I'd have crumpled a long time ago.
